Description:

There are now 2 RFX85 choices: the standard RFX85 and the new RFX85HD high drive.

This selection is for the new RFX85HD high drive ONLY.

The RFX85 circuit includes driver stage, final amplifier stage and low pass filter. The RFX85 is your choice for 10 meter radio repairs and upgrades that require replacing the radio's driver and final amplification stages.

The RFX85HD circuit includes only the final amplifier stage and low pass filter which makes for a much quicker and easier installation. The RFX85HD is your choice for 10 meter radio repairs and upgrades when all your replacing is the final transistor or no transistors.

The RFX85HD accepts full RF power from the radio final(s) without removing them. The installation is much faster and easier than removing all of the radio parts as with the RFX75 and RFX85 models!

Both RFX85 units feature the new fan-ready heatsink design and variable bias controls for better tuning on SSB radio installations.

The new heatsink on the RFX85 and RFX85HD is designed for mounting single and dual 40mm fans without any extra hardware.

The RFX85 and RFX85HD are replacing the older RFX75.

The RFX85HD is a replacement final RF amplification stage and low pass filter module for use with 10 meter amateur transceivers. The RFX85HD is standard equipment on certain models of amateur transceivers, and it may also be used for repairs on most 10 meter amateur transceivers.

The RFX85HD has a maximum RF input power level of 18 watts carrier and 30 watts PEP. RF input levels less than these will work, but overall power out levels will be less.
