Description:

Type 316 Stainless Steel Oversized Flat Washer

Compared to general purpose washers, these have exaggerated outside diameters and/or thicknesses. Washers with large outside diameters are good for covering oversized holes and are also known as fender washers. Thick washers can be used as spacers and levelers and are also known as fixture or setup washers.

Type 316 is an austenitic, non-magnetic, and thermally nonhardenable stainless steel. Type 316 can withstand corrosive attack by sodium and calcium brines and is one of the main stainless used in the marine environment.
