Description:

These mounts were specifically designed to allow antenna installations on vehicles where other mounts may not work. The primary goal was to offer a mount that could be affixed to a vertical inner door jamb such as that which might be found on the rear or side door of a cargo type van. Since the mounting screws are meant to be on the inner edge of the jamb, visible holes in the vehicle body are eliminated. Like many other FireStik mounts, the versatility of these mounts go well beyond their targeted use. When you hold this mount in your hand you will start to recognize all of the mounting possibilities. Chances are, you will find several locations to mount it on your vehicle. For antennas up to 4ft in length.

In order to give you many years of trouble free use, the bracket parts and mounting hardware are made of stainless steel. The bracket is 1.5" (38mm) wide and has a 2" (50mm) reach for mounting inside the door jamb. Overall, the mount is 4.2" (105mm) long. In order to compensate for the door jamb angles, the stud bracket will swivel a full 180 degrees, 90 in each direction. This adjustment feature will let you mount the antenna on either the left or right side of the vehicle.

The SS-204A includes the K-4A, SO-239 base antenna stud mount. If the mounting situation allows for the required space to use a screw on coax connector (PL-259) on the mount end of the coax, this is the mount to choose.

May be used with any 3/8"-24 threaded antenna or accessory.
