Good arteries are important to your heart like good coax cable is important to your radio.

This 18 foot coax is professionally assembled in-house utilizing exacting techniques, high quality connectors, and RG-8X coaxial cable.

Now you can take advantage of the benefits of the FME rotating nipple female crimp and have the ease and convenience of being able to route your coax to the radio without the need for holes or passages that could be as large as one-inch. This cable is routed from the mount to the radio and the female mini-UHF connector will pass through a hole that is only 7/16" (11mm)in diameter. After reaching the radio, completion is as simple as screwing on the supplied FME/UHF adapter and then screwing the PL to the radios antenna connection. Once your coax has reached the radio there is no coax to process ... no soldering joints to complete and no tools needed.

RG-8X is a type of coaxial cable often used for amateur radio. The cable has a characteristic impedance of 50 Ohm. RG-8X is a "thinner" version with the electrical characteristics of RG-8U.

Most two-way radio communication systems, such as marine, CB radio, amateur, police, fire, WLAN antennas etc., are designed to work with a 50 Ohm cable.

RG-8X cable is to be used in a "single antenna" installation only.
