Description:
RG-8X is a type of coaxial cable often used for amateur
radio. The cable has a characteristic impedance of 50
Ohm. RG-8X is a "thinner" version with the
electrical characteristics of RG-8U.
Most two-way radio communication systems, such as marine,
CB radio, amateur, police, fire, WLAN antennas etc., are
designed to work with a 50 Ohm cable.
RG-8X cable is to be used in a "single antenna"
installation only.
